Monmouthshire's Labour Candidate in the 2024 General Election
I have lived in the Monmouthshire constituency for over 20 years - both the fantastic people and the beauty of the place brought me here. It's a wonderful area to bring up my two children.
I've been involved in the community ever since I moved here, most recently as a County Councillor for Monmouthshire County Council and a school governor.
I was until recently Chief Executive of a charity campaigning for a fairer Wales, I was proud to have doubled their funding and grown their impact in recent years, winning important campaigns as well as three National awards. Monmouthshire's residents are some of the kindest and fairest that I have known but they do not have a government in Westminster who treats them fairly.
Monmouth needs an MP who is committed to strengthening the economy to fix the chaos caused by the Tories over the past 13 years, an MP who can make Monmouthshire fairer, working with the Welsh Labour Government to bring funding to the area to regenerate our high streets and invest in public services, as well as an MP who will take the climate emergency seriously.
Together, it’s time to build a stronger, fairer, greener Monmouthshire.
